The meeting of the WLEPOA Recreation Committee was called to order at 10:00 a.m., April 8, 2017, by Tri-Chairperson Jeanine Salgueiro.  All present rose for the Pledge of Allegiance.  Sixteen members in good standing were present.

Old Business:
Continuous Reminder for Event Chairs:  Only one extension to the cut-off date and that determination has to be made on or before the original cut-off date (not after).   Once cut-off date has come, no tickets will be sold unless the chair decides to sell at the door.
Easter Egg Hunt - Jerry Beskovoyne reported that the event was "fantastic".   He thanked those who helped; particularly Kathy and Dan Huber.   The event cost $358.
Kentucky Derby - In the absence of Jeri Marshall and Marshall Perez, Diane C. told the membership that the evening was phenomenal.  71 people attended; food was terrific, pictures will be submitted to office for posting.  This event saw a profit of $605.80.
The consensus at the meeting was there would be no change in by-laws regarding conduct as stated in April 8 minutes. We will observe Robert's Rules at our meetings.

New Business:
